Default Under coating types?

I'm looking rof the RustyJones type under coating.

Anybody know anything about it?

I've had two RustyJones cars, I know that's not enough to make a perfect determination, but both cars remained rust free throughout the course of thier PA lives.

It was a clear yellowish coating, not the typical black rubberized stuff.

Anybody know of a similar product?

Is there any zinc impregnated undercoats? Basically like a spray galvanize then paint over to seal?

That Rusty Jones resembled Cosmoline on the cars we sprayed in on at the dealer I worked at. Nasty **** to remove but it worked well.

3M sells what may be the same product in spray cans as part 08892. They call the stuff "Rust FIghter - I". I presume it is also available in bulk if you have that type of applicator. Stuff looks like beeswax after it sets up some. I hope it works as I put it in the cab corner patches I put in my S10 pickup last year. Check some auto parts stores that carry body supplies or check a body supply store. I got mine at a Car Quest in Des Moines but I'm sure there are other sources.

Having a hard time finding a link to this for a US distributor, though application centers are listed.
I used to be able to buy this at NAPA ...
