Default Early round port heads?

Does anyone know what heads these are? No date code and no normal type 614 or 722 cast on the outer port. Thanks.

Didn't the early 722's have the full part # cast on the end port? It's hard to read those #'s in the pic but could it end w/722?

Thanks guys. I thought I had some info saved on these indicating they were 722s but I’ve misplaced it somewhere.

Factory original head would not have a date code, it would be under valve cover area, but drilled through.

Can you rub some chalk on the casting area or do a pencil rub to see if it becomes clearer?

Yeah you can see where the date code was machined off from the center bolt hole being drilled. I know the SR ones have a date code visible though. I don’t have the heads in my possession, a friend sent me the pics but I remembered seeing some like these before and thought I had made notes for them.

for some reason I don't know and have never heard anyone who does, but several 69 ra4 firebirds had the full part # on one head and the other head was a 722 only. both of my ra4 birds were this way and I have talked to others who have original engine cars that way. on the other hand I have never came across a gto that way.

These heads were listed on The internet for sale the last couple days as 722 long part number 1969 Ram Air IV Heads . The seller knew that and he stated that in his ad and that’s exactly what they are.I was going to purchase them but they are heavily pitted on the outside and the number is hard to read.

The seller is a friend of mine and I gave him the info about what they were before he posted them for sale.
