Default 66 GTO wanted

In search of a 1966 4spd GTO in the 20k range. Not expecting a cream puff of course. Anything out there?

Already saw that one. If it's on Marketplace I've probably seen it. Looking for something someone might have tucked away.

I can't believe they want $25,000 for that hack of a 66 GTO! Has the wrong interior, wires hanging loose everywhere, and needing a ton of work, and saying it is 97% complete is a joke.

That 66 is at a 'classic car dealer'in SC. I drove by there a bunch and stopped in a few times when living there. He has a lot of vehicles. Tons of abandonded projects, parts cars, rust buckets, and junkyard dogs. Most are in poor shape, not running, and/or missing major components and are way overpriced.

About 10K more than I'd pay for it! That's if underside is decent.

All their listings have always been similar --- shet bombs with 5x pricing.

Most people in this area seem to overprice their cars .

A quick look at the sellers profile told me everything I need to know about him. Most people around here are lying sacks of ghetto sh** just looking to get over. I don't trust them... and don't give them an inch. Most of what they are selling is hacked up overpriced junk. I quit traveling any further than a couple hours to look at anything.
