1969 paint choices - lots of "blues"
I'm finally considering a paint job for my 1969 Executive coupe. It's original color is Champagne Poly with a Dark Fawn top. The interior might be Gold? It's a combination of odd 1960's light/medium brown & goldish tones, and dark brown carpet.
New color I would like to be in the blue family, and have discovered if I want to stay factory (or close) I have at least 4-5 options! - https://www.autocolorlibrary.com/pag...9-pontiac.html Here are some examples I found online of 68-69 models sporting a few of these shades, from light to dark: - Warwick Blue Poly with white top, Bonneville convertible (in sunlight) - , Warwick Blue Poly and black top, Bonneville sedan (in shade) - Crystal Turquoise Poly on a GTO - Windward Blue w/ white top, GTO convertible - Liberty Blue on a GTO - On another paint page I found reference to a Midnight Blue, but I don't think I'd want to go that dark Any own or seen these colors in person to comment? I'm learning toward the lighter Warwick Blue, but the other factor is my gold/brown interior... which is in great shape and I don't plan to change. Just having a conversation here and interested in any comments!

69 gold interior has a lot of green in it so I'd think twice about any blue color on the body. This is the factory gold interior in my Executive 4 door sedan.

Like North said, that interior will limit the colors that look good.
If you are wanting to stick to a factory 69 color midnight green would look good. I’m not a green guy but like the dark greens. I’m a Crystal T fan and had a 69 bird with the combo. I changed it to parchment when I restored it but it was built that way.

I thought a blue wouldn’t look bad with tan/brown interior, but yeah the greenish tint within the dash/seats color would probably become overly obvious.
I really don’t want a brown or green car. I wonder how one of the factory yellows (or close) would match the brown and gold interior…
