Default Does anyone true up steel wheels - found some issues in Rally 1s

Nothing major, and I bet the previous owner never noticed.

But, after sandblasting, I can see where mine have some minor dents, etc that are not coming out with vise grips and a torch.

Might have screwed the pooch checking into this AFTER the etch prime, but better than finding after tires are mounted.

Locals can square up aluminum easily, but steel wheels in general are throw aways.

Any ideas in Detriot or the SW Michigan/Michiana/Chigagoland areas?

Appreciate any help or leads.

Hi Keith, hope you are well! Just checked them and nada, they only do aluminum wheels any more for straightening, etc.

You might try looking at Craigslist. There is a local guy here who does steel wheel repairs out of his garage. I found him through Craigslist and he fixed my 17.5 high clearance wheels for my 52.

Where is local to you? That would help me chase it.

I took a rally rim there, I think it was around $50 to true it up.
