Drove this one with the 4 banger (and skinny Welds up front) for quite a while before I cut it up for the tube chassis. Sold it unfinished 10 years or so ago.

My 61 Wagon by 2008 I hope it will be 215V8 Powered
Kept forgetting to add a picture here of my wagon and my much better known (Google search 1961 Tempest) coupe which I've had for a long time.
Wagon has as nice of an interior as my coupe, but there are the usual fender cavity issues that need to be corrected. |

my 63 in progress
Well, I was almost ready to block and paint and sh!t hit the fan-3 times in 3 weeks-3 snow storms and I can't get it in the shop.

Yeh guys cruel and unususal punishment for me also. The weather poops say there will be another storm this coming Friday. 4 for 4 since Christmas. The little Tempest runs but doesn't have 4 wheel drive. LOL

southern Arizona 63 barn find!
Look what i dragged home the week after thanks giving! quite the stocking stuffer! Besideds I already had enough coal to keep me warm!
63 Le Mans 86129 miles! Date of Manf: 05A Style: 63-2217 Trim: 213 Body: PO. 24395 ACC: - - Paint: C C another code appears on the data plate: 20-2. Any speculation on what that is? Engine VIN: 263P196398(same as Body VIN) Block code:89Z (110 hp) White with black interior, Bucket seats, 4 speed, push button AM, 2 speed wipers. This one only has 86129 miles on it and it shows in the details, alot of factory assembly line markings, all engine casting date codes are within a week proir to the build date! even the ehuaste is complete, origional and date coded march of 63. wow! only minimal rust through on the entire car! the surface rust is the result of bad paint prep when the care was repainted yellow back in the day. the underside of the car is clean enough to eat off of! the trunk has a few spots of rust through. That darn trunk mat syndrome and a spot in front of the pass side rear wheel well. Otherwise a very solid car. Oh. and it does not run......yet. New edit: FOR SALE!
