Was actually Robin <rdtripn_rte66> who kicked this off weeks ago. Chris agreed to it. Looks like the Wanted thread got sticky status. Hope this one is soon to follow.

They should probably be combined into one thread. Glad we dont have to hunt through all the other BS any more.

Gary suggested 2 threads. Made sense to me after pondering how I sell, buy and search.

Okay, I didn't realize how much I over paid for these. I guess when you need them you pay the price. Like I said, I don't need them anymore and don't want to see them get damaged and be worthless. If you need them I would sell them for $50 plus shipping. Can't go any lower.

Default 4gc parts for the automatic

Just BARELY missed an Ebay auction today of a complete 4gc off a '62 Tempest 4bbl with the automatic trans and it had everything...dashpot w/bracket, throttle return spring bracket, and even the kickdown linkage cube on the linkage and has that fitting for the tranny vacuum between the 2 idle screws. My 4gc is pretty much all set to go, it's been rebuilt but man, that kickdown cube is one thing I wish I could've gotten, the first time I ever saw a photo of one. I had a guy at my work make a kickdown bracket...a longer version of the 1bbl bracket...hope that one will work and for the tranny vacuum, I made a hardline out of 1/4"brake line and beveled the end to go into the hole between the idle screws (the fitting itself is gone) and flared the other end to run a hose from that to fitting on the hardline.

But the noneless, I'm still looking for an automatic 4gc, even if it's just the base with the fitting and has the linkage parts. Dashpot's not important but if you have a bracket (I have a NOS dashpot), I'll take it if you don't need or want it! 2nd one I've lost on Ebay so far lol

Default 4GC Parts

DeeRock, I have about 2 or 3 4GC carbs that I have used to piece together the one that is on top of my un-fired 195 4 banger. I have posed the question of what jets are factory correct, but no one seems to know. The 4 GC I ended up building is probably going to be way too rich,

Do you have the kickdown cube part for an automatic tranny 4gc and the dashpot bracket? As for the jets, I tried looking it up but couldn't find. However, I do have so spare jets if you need any...I can give them to you for free. I thought, though, that some fella here replied to one of your posts about the jets a while back and where he got the info from. The rebuild kit or shop manual (at least for the '62) don't say, either. Thanks
