Ben, that's a nice B body cross-section you've had over the years. The white '67 B-ville 4 door would be my 1st choice right now, I'm assuming that car is long gone? Funny how tastes change over time, 10-15 yrs ago I never would've looked at a 4 door but now I'm all over them.

I had it for a short while but did sell it after the neighborhood hoodlums ripped off the VIN when I left the car unlocked one night. California DMV wouldn't help me issue a new one and the police were suspicious of me, so I dumped the car. Made a great deal to a guy who lives outside Chicago, he still has it and has built a very sweet 455 for it (I was up there last month and he showed me & let me hear it run). That's the one car I was really upset with how it ended, it was a great car in great condition - interior was perfect (except for the door handles which I fixed) and there was truly no rust anywhere on that car.

Hi mate So in queensland state ware I am a member of the pontiac car club last figures were 750 registered cars , over %50 are trans am and firebird family's..next big % is full size ,most being the RHD Canadian pontiacs . On some of the club runs and shows the numbers of GTO's appear to be increasing. A good turnout of full size 2 doors at a local show or road run maybe 5 cars. John L.

63 Pontiac, Does your 68 have the Decor Group as an option, or did all base Catalina sedans come with the chrome door frames, rocker moldings, and full length side body moulding? Did you get a PHS or ever find a build sheet or original window sticker?
Love that car! Thanks, Dennis |

I just found the original picture thread, no sticky so it is on page four, maybe the moderator could sticky it so it moves back to page 1

Here is the Executive 4 door sedan I bought earlier this year, mostly original paint and virgin interior. Relatively well optioned for an Exec, auto, AC, ps. pdrums, pw and power seat. I'm the second owner.

Here's my all original 71 Bonneville 4-dr hardtop I got back in 1985 with 39,000 miles to tow my judge with. OO traded it in on a Crown Vic and was rarely driven in the winter. No A/C, just a and AM radio, cordova top and white wall tires were the only options. I added the Rally II's and 4-bbl intake and Q-jet to the original YH code 455. I had a custom bolt-on hitch made for towing that is still on the car (I don't tow with it anymore) and have a large trans cooler in front of the radiator. It runs great with the 4-bbl setup and 87 octane gas and has 56,000 miles on it now.

Nice stuff fellas. I totally dig that white 68 with the poverty caps! That is THEE look to me on these huge cars, gives it a perfect stance and doesn't look bloated. Here is a few from my 68 GP.
Was original paint and most everything when I got it, but had to do some bodywork so it lost its Nordic Blue. Ugly black primer now but a new 400 heartbeat soon! |

Bit of a sad day for me today as I sold 67 bonneville after owning it for 16 years.
I am on the move and time for a new darksider in the future. A 65 or 66 2+2 will de my next ride. John L. Sent from my SM-T585 using Tapatalk
