Default Need a Mechanic for ‘71 T/A Engine in Los Angeles

Hi all,

I have a 1971 Trans Am in stock condition.

I am having an engine issue and it may be a stuck or incorrectly installed Divorce Choke.

I am looking for a very knowledgeable, reliable, solid mechanic to work on my car’s engine.

Any leads would be appreciated.

Thanks.

Check with the local Pontiac clubs, POCI, etc. I know a guy in Fullerton, but that's a drive from LA.

I am in West Los Angeles. I can put the car on a carrier so no worries. Thanks.

The distance is not an issue. Can you provide more info? Thanks

You can PM me if you'd like. I'm a 47 year tech. Built and raced Pontiacs for decades. An old Pete McCarthy/John Angeles disciple & a certified GM tech. I work out of my house. Van Nuys, Ca. Next to the airport.
