Widest wheel on front of 67?
Wondering if anyone by chance has gone as wide as 8 inches on the front?
I'm planning on getting 18 inch wheels and certain that 7 inch wide with 4 inch backspacing should fit just fine but want to get max tire width which requires an 8 inch wheel. If anyone has gone this wide, would appreciate knowing the backspacing you used and if any clearance issues.

I’d be interested in seeing that combo on the 67 Bonnie, as I’m still looking for a good replacement wheel/tire combo for my 69 Executive coupe.

18 X 7 Rally II's withBFG Redlines
They are for sale and will be brought to Norwalk if not sold before then. They belong to my brother and I can put you in touch with him. Solid aluminum wheels complete with lug nuts in excellent condition. Tires are dated but less than 1000 miles and always garaged. my cell is 5025946038, text me for pictures.
He also has a complete 4 wheel disc brake set up that was on the car. He converted it to 8 lug wheel, and everything he took off worked fine. |
