Default 1962 Tempest Pickup

Here's something different. It's a 1962 Tempest wagon converted into a pickup.
It sold online for $6200. The builder used parts from the wagon to create the rear roof and window area. He grafted on the rear roof section with pillars and drip rails and the upper tailgate with window so it has a bit of a factory look.
The builder mostly dechromed the car but then added an accessory stainless fuel door guard.
The original drivetrain has been replaced by a more modern GM drivetrain.
Check out the tailgate latches!

Nice work
Somewhat reminds me of an early Ranchero.
