What did you do to your 1972 LeMans GT today??
Since I am relatively new and have had the car for over 2 decades I thought I might start to catalog/share what I have done up to this point (within reason) to kind of catch up to present day.
Not going to go back to 1999 but stick to more of the recent work done and maybe get some feedback or comparison with other cars here on the forum... |

So one of the things I noticed over time is my car seem to sit crooked, that is to say each of the 4 corners were at different heights when measured on a flat surface. Seems like those stamped upper and lower a arms only last 50 or so years. LOL Finally figured out it was the front and not the rear. Mine must have hit a chuckhole at some point before i owned it, anyway I replaced the entire front suspension (minus the sway bar which was fine) with a beautiful (albeit no name) tubular kit with high end sway bar connections and all poly urethane bushings. Paid very little for the kit and it came with spacers for the spring pocket to raise or lower the total height of the front end. They went under the spring pocket urethane insert. Great kit and the car handles so much better and is so quiet in the front end but most of all is the same height from side to side. Put about 900 miles on it this Summer and so far so good. Pics to follow from phone.
