Default Question on installing a new power brake booster.

Should there be a gasket or an O-ring between the power brake booster and the master cylinder? The old booster has a cup with the seal for the pushrod on it that extends up and meets with the old master cylinder. The new one I bought from Ames does not have a similar set up. Just just the pushrod seal, which is inside of the booster. . I’m wondering if there should be an O-ring or something to seal this up

Thank you for any help or advice

I don’t visit here as much as I used to. I kind of put my car on the back burner lately. Had a lot of personal things going on in my life so I’m finally trying to get my butt geared. Do a little bit of work on the car thanks for the kind words.
