Default Survivor '74 Ventura on eBay

This one looks super original. Is it a Sprint model?

The sprint issue was being debated in another post from the other day. The only true way to find out is to get the PHS because it was nothing more than a decal option. From what I've seen of 74 Sprints, This looks like maybe a dealer installed stripe or something like that??? Every factory sprint I've seen over the years, including the one we have now, always had the word "Sprint" in the center of the stripes on the rear qtr/ sail panel. I could be wrong but I'm just going off what I've seen. Regardless, that is a solid car and if it sells in the $3500 range, thats a great deal for a car that solid.

I like the Pontiac arrowhead behind the quarter window. Nice, straight, solid car to start with

A lot of people (me for example) weld the holes up for those emblems and fill over them because they are near impossible to find good ones and the originals always seem to be shot. If I ever find good ones, I'll put them back on.

I know the early sprints had sport mirrors and sport wheel. Did they change that on the 73-74 sprints?

Thats weird, it has all the custom trim, but no custom emblem on the sail pannel, next to the Pontiac emblem.

I've only seen that one time and can't remember if it was a 73 or a 74. Only thing I've ever seen with "Custom" markings is on the door panels for the 74.

Here's a shot of the bone-stock '73 I once had, it had both the arrow and "Custom" on the sail panel, as well as the 3-spoke "custom-cushion" steering wheel. I believe it had the "Custom" emblems on the inner door panels as well.

Personally, I'm not surprised by any combination of emblems or other appearance-related items anymore, though there are certain configurations that are more 'typical' than others.

This car is an awesome find, what a time capsule. Let's see the final sales price at auction's end!

I don't think it's a Custom. The steering wheel looks like what was put in base 70-72 T-37/LeMans. Also, the plaid seat fabric was common in entry level 73-74 Novas, too.

The winning bid was $5200, I am thinking the buyer isn't going to chop it up.
