Ok OK I'm here I'm here

I still need to dig out my stash of dog dish caps and put together 4 decent ones.

I didn't find a crankcase vent but I know I have a few. Are the 59s the same as the 60s and the 62s? I should have at least one of each.

I got pics of the tail lights. One is darker than the other. One says Guide glo brite which I assume might be an NOS and the other one just says glo brite on it. They both have part numbers on the top of the inside but I didn't think to check to see if these were matching numbers.

I'll get some pics of the 3.23s if you really want them. Did you just want the gears or an open carrier with it? The gears are in good shape. I might have more than one set of 3.23s

I also have 2 or 3 good shape mid 60s olds 442 console tachs. These consoles are too cool. I bought a bunch of them a few years back in hopes that one would work in my 59. The first one I tried was a working unit so I can't say for sure if these are good but the needles move freely. I'd like $150 each. I took a pic of the first one I dug out. The pics seem to show every little scratch. They look better in person and if you really wanted to should shine up nicely. The bezels are stainless. If someone can tell me how to test them I will gladly test them.

I also have a newer sun pro tach with all the wiring. It was in my 62 when I got it. The owner said it worked but maybe blew a fuse. I never could get it to work. It's got all the wiring and column mount. I'd like $25 for it

They aren't exactly matching in color but they are both in great shape

Robert,

I could use the timing covers...when you can, please email me pics of them...interested in seeing pry-marks/damage, corrosion levels and casting date info.

I am interested in the balancer if you still have it. Do you know the part number?

Here are the 2 timing covers and the 2 oil pans I have. There is a sale pending. We'll see what he wants.

The pan on the left is the 62 and the one on the right is a 59 or 60. The 59/60 pan is painted a reddish color. That's not all rust. They both have slight dings and a little dirty but plenty usable.

That's the aluminum 62 cover. Some corrosion. I've seen worse, but I've seen a lot better. You be the judge.

the 62 cover

'59 cover
Cast iron piece. Heavy but in nice shape. The water pump turns smoothly and has a reman sticker on it. It was pulled from a running motor.

I started to clean up the one on the left. Never finished. The right one is untouched.

Aluminum Chief, I never did find the crankcase vents. I know I have them somewhere. If I find them I'll let you know

Hi, Robert:

Converting my 62 Catalina, 2dr htp cloth interior to a Ventura tri-color, vinyl interior. Would you happen to have the door and 1/4 interior panels. Actually only need the moldings as I have new door panels, but no moldings.

Thanks in advance, Jerry

Sorry, I sold my VTO Catalina to Chris Malish. I know he has gotten some interior work done on the car. Maybe he can help you out
