Has anyone ever converted a turbo400 to an TH350 transmission on a 69 GTO 4 barrel carb and got the kickdown linkage worked out.
Any input would be helpful.

It would be better if you use a 400 trans.
If you must use a 350 trans. You will need to find a 68-72 lemans donor car and get the kick down linkage from it. The linkage connects to the gas pedal. You could convert your car to the later 350 linkage. This will involve using a later TransAm bracket. The braket has the holder for the later kickdown cable. If you use a 72 intake or a Performer intake the bracket will bolt on with out any fabrication. You may also need to get another driveshaft. The legnths are different.
