On a '68 LeMans, I've got idiot lights with a Rallye Clock (strange?). Aside from switching out the sensors, what would need to be done to install a Rallye gauge setup and have it function correctly? I guess the correct printed circuit would be needed, but what else in the way of harness, etc.? I'd rather keep the clock and go with an aftermarket tach...

First off you need a Rally gauge cluster with the original circuit board in tact. You need to swap the #5(tan) wire and the #7 brown wire at the back of the guages. On 68's, you must also cut 1 wire and I forget which one. That's it.
p.s. Green wire goes to temp sender, dark blue goes to oil sender.

Note ,this procedure is the same up until 72. I've not done any of the later models to know if they're the same or not. Also the light/rally clock is a fairly common thing. I've owned several pontiacs with this combo. mike
