Default '71 T-37 or GT-37 or

Starting a search for a possible winter street/strip project. I'm selling or trading my '68 Bird bracket car.

I'd like to find a GOOD '71 T-37, GT-37, or other '71-'72 A-body. I can't do any kind of rust bucket resto project. So, I need a car that doesn't need much more than an engine, trans, and paint, to put it on the street.

Don't think I'll have more than $10k for the whole project, maybe a little less.

If I keep my 455 & TH400, I'll only have about $5000, for a good roller.

So, if ya'll run across something that might work for me, please post it.

I want to make it clear to everyone that I can't buy until my car sells. I say that because some seem to get upset when they find a good deal for you and you can't jump right on it. So, I don't want to offend anyone.

Thanks !

Not sure who got it but it looked like a good deal.

Yeah, something like that might definitely work.

Having a Chevy six would create a little extra work. I assumed the '71 would have come with a glide, behind the six. But, anyhow, a good streetable body is the main thing.

Thanks a lot for posting the link !

I've posted some more ads for my car, and will post some more today. If I can make a quick sale, I might be able to rig up the street/strip car, in time to make a T&T at our local track, before they close for the season. They're usually open til around Thanksgiving.
