I couldn't tell you. I just know I've seen a very few '69s with them and I don't recall seeing any other GTOs with them. In the late '70s there was a very similar hubcap used on the B body cars like the Bonnevilles and such. They had an octagonal center area but otherwise very similar.

Can't speak too Canadian Ponchos but US built offered the wire wheel Disc and was the same from '67-'69
with what appears to be all identical PMD centers.

I think they were used from 66-72. I have a full set NOS in gm boxes. Been saving them for the right car.

yup, 67-72 on A and F body, 69-72 on G cars and 67-68 on B cars. A 15 " version was used on 69-70 fullsize also so be careful buying a set for a GTO as they look the same. I also have an NOS set of 14" that I'm waiting for the right car for. Surprisingly they seem to be pretty abundant and I often see quite nice ones on eBay for reasonable money. You won't be bidding against many people!

Second pic is a 15" on a 69 Bonnie.

Rare option. I like 'em. A guy in our club has these on his '67, as originally equipped. As already pointed out, these do pop up on Ebay occasionally for reasonable money.

Out of almost 450 non Judge 69 GTO's in my PHS listing only 8 had those caps. I developed an affinity for those caps from the red on red rag top in the 69 HiPerf brochure! Too bad about the ahead of its time 70's leisure suit!

The really rare hupcap was the Custom only 3 of them in my PHS listing, I think the problem was they looked too much like the deluxe cap but cost double the money. It's surprising they continued them into 1970!

My 68 has them on the PHS. I bought a set off eBay and restored them. Polishing all those spokes is a PITA. Had them on the car for a while and thought they looked pretty good with my cars color combo.
