Default Free 455 parts if you can pick them up in NW Indiana

Complete intake and Quadrajet from my '73 455. Intake has a number 484282 on it, carb is a number 7043262 F3 JA.

4x heads from same '73 455.

These came out of a 73 Grandville with 86K miles on it and appear to be in fine shape. I rebuilt the block and switched to KRE heads and a Pro Systems carb so I don't have a need for these. I know they are not worth a LOT of money so I'd like to see a PY member in the area get some use out of them. No swap meet parts churners looking for inventory please. If you can use them and can meet me in the Chesterton/Valparaiso area of NW Indiana you can have them.

Well if you do feel like shipping to Iowa let me know. I, would take the Q-jet and intake. I even have a Cliff rebuild kit laying around for the carb!

I am out of town for work for a couple days so let me see if anyone local speaks up and I'll let you know Wednesday. If no one wants to pick them up I'll be glad to send them to you for whatever UPS ground costs.

Carb and intake are being picked up by member "form 74". Heads are still available. No one wants some nice low compression heads for a boosted motor project??

I have a set of those myself - they make fine weight in the back of the pickup during snow days...

That being said I would like to get the rockers and nuts if you wish to sell separately.

Let me give it a few days and see if anyone wants them complete. It just kills me to think of taking them to the jusk yard, I'd sure rather have someone take them complete. If no one speaks up in a few days I'll send you the rockers, etc. and junk the heads. I plan to move in the next year to two and can't carry them around with me.

I figured that by giving them away free someone would try to use them. I'm not even trying to sell them, just don't want to trash old pontiac parts if someone could use them. The problem is that they are so heavy shipping would cost a fortune. Who knows, with Chicago so close and so many Pontiac guys up there maybe someone will decide they are worth the effort of picking up.

If you were closer I wouldn't mind having them, but I am on the Ohio/Pennsylvania border. Just too far to go for any parts according to my wife.
I paid $50 for the set I already have locally. Have you tried Craigslist?
