Default 2004r with Tripower

Hello, I am paring a 65 Tripower to a 2004r and I think I have a problem with the tv cable geometry . It runs fine 1st, 2nd, 3rd. 4th and overdrive. At WOT it will only shift out of 1st if I let off the throttle. Thanks Bill

You are correct! The setting (not adjusting,) of the TV cable is critical. Years ago, I assisted in designing a TV cable system for the tripower. They are sold on this webpage.

Take a look.

You can ruin your transmission with an improper adjustment.
