FYI, I think the speedmaster heads are only round port. From what I read, staying with D-port is only useful if you don't want to get new headers.

Good luck with Speedmaster...doesn’t answer the phone, won’t return calls or answer email.
Still hasn’t filled order from their Black Friday sale (Dec 2nd).

I believe that Edelbrock, as well as Speedmaster, underestimate the amount of people willing to fork over their money for reasonably priced aftermarket cylinder heads in the Pontiac hobby. Jamaca85 must have been early on in the Black Friday offer, and got his from existing stock. After the stock was exhausted the people further down the line did exactly that, they got in line for future production.

The aftermarket doesn't have a grasp on the Pontiac owners in our hobby. I don't believe they ever will, or give a damn about figuring it out. Kinda like dealing with government agencies..........LOL

just google the feedback on any of their stuff..i see some really aggravated customers talking about customer service and poor fit and quality..porous castings etc...some intake arent even close to fitting etc..i was looking and after seeing all the negative feed back..i wouldnt spend my hard earned money with them..especially with no service after the sale...

Sorry to hear this. I was also unlucky and was able to get them to refund me. I could have waited, but they would not give a date as to when the order would be filled, so i bailed.

I ordered mine in February and just got them last week. Their aluminum blanks come from China prior to the machine work and assembly in California. When covid-19 hit, the Chinese supplier stopped sending blanks and didn't give an ETA. I have another thread where I'm going through my (in)experience installing the heads.

I found emailing them a little frustrating but they were responsive over the phone.

Guess I was lucky. Ordered on the black Friday deal and got them middle Jan. I emailed them 3x with a few questions and they always responded. My castings are nicer than all 3 sets of my Eheads.

Actually received the heads middle of June.
Gave them a once over, haven’t really dug in too deep on guides, valve seats, etc. but overall look good for the cost.
