'02 Silverado TS switch replacement
I just bought a service manual on CD. Long story short it didn't load or work in my computer. I need information on proceedure for turn signal switch replacement.

On most newer GM vehicles just remove steering column covers to gain access to switch remove usaully 2 or 3 screws and unplug. I will check the manual [on shop pc]tomarrow and get back to you with more accurate details.

Multifunction switch replacement - on vehicle
Here it is step #1 disable the SIR system - air bag
2 remove knee bolster 3 loosen steering column bracket nuts 4 remove the steering column trim covers 5 disconnect the steering column bulkhead connector from the vehicle harness 6 disconnect the gray and the black connectors [2] of the switch from the column bulkhead connector 7 disconnect the automatic transmission shift lock control electrical connector 8 remove the wire harness straps from the steering column wire harness [1] 9 disconnect the park position switch electrical connection 10 remove the multifunction switch retaining screws from the switch 11 remove the multifuntion turn signal/hazard switch. To install reverse procedure. Hope this helps you. Rob.
