I was thoroughly enjoying my time off, but lately I'm feeling a bit anxious, haven't had this much time off in my entire life. It's starting to make me feel kind of antsy despite having plenty to do around the house and shop.

I feel the same way. I have at least 2 more weeks of this.

Being a small business owner, I feel for the others whose businesses are closed & are struggling with money to the point they may not reopen. I have been blessed to not be in a position to worry about paying my bills, so I am enjoying the heck out of being home for the last 5 weeks. I am on the road much of the time transporting everybody elses babies which mean I hardly ever get time to work on mine. I have gotten more done on my rides & my shop during this 5 week period than I have over the last two years.

My only issue is I now have a 12 car backlog on my schedule so when I go back out, I will have to bust butt to get caught up!

God Bless
Bill

It's helped that they opened up the golf courses finally. Hit a bucket of balls on Monday and played 18 on Wednesday. Probably get 2 rounds in this coming week...

All together too many honey do projects have been completed. Need to be able to have some fun!

Same here, we are down to 8 bottles, every couple of years we make 36 bottles of Red. Typical "Italian Night" is two bottles.

Nothing new here. I've been staying at home for the last two years since retirement. Everyday is Saturday.
I go to the store, Home Depot, or Auto Zone just like before.

Staying at home? No way in hell! I have to have my coffee fix every morning. I go to the parts store and drink it and get the local gossip. Maybe go to Lowes, and then go home. And then there are days I actually go to work, but maybe only twice a week when it doesn't rain and there's weeds to pull or flowers to stick in the ground.

If I was stuck at home I'd go insane, or go to jail. All because of the Warden.

You too? I have those really hard adult coloring books, and the 36 pack of colored pencils and an old time little plastic 2 size pencil sharpener. This is my spare time thing to do when I’m not up in the shop wrenching on the TA.

I bought some sign paint and letting quills. I want to hand letter my old gasser project so I’ve been playing around. Paint and messing with distressing it.

It’s hard to be any kind of consistent but I’m getting a little better.

BTW Catfish is my little garage helper/co Driver dog. I’m going to put a fake ad on the car for her.

Yeah..... it is getting to me.... but for another reason....

I am essential.... truck repair for Penske, and its great my income has not been disrupted .... but

My wife stays with her 81 yr old mom a lot to help her..... and since I am exposed we made the choice to have her just stay at her mom's until we feel its safe....

So its been 7+ weeks since I have even held my wife's hand...... I go by there on weekends and we go for walks staying the 6+ feet apart... but its tough....

Being in NJ..... there does not seem to be an end date as of yet....

Sounds like my day. But I do also go to the Post Office everyday and do a drive thru on my Mini Warehouses. Hardware store, auto parts store, etc. Only thing that has changed for me is having to get lunch through a drive thru or take out. Usually have lunch at least 3 days a week with a group of my friends. I miss that.

The great nana on other side of the family is age 91. & got Cv19...from the visiting nurse(s). Only a slight fever. Homemade Italian cooking probably helped, or maybe just the attitude.

As for mee; practicing pre-retirement 7-10 years ahead of STD sked. Home and Garden resto, Lowes, time with wife, grandkuds, food, beer, making wine and beer, walking the dog lots, working in the office (spinning records too).

Car stuff organized, repairs done...except rear main seal. the GTO simply awaits Sunny day!

Keeping track of Internet realities.

I love fresh bread out of the oven. I did the pasta thing last year, and this past winter I started baking bread. I havent had any come looking like that yet. Do you throw some ice cubes in the bottom of the oven when you put the dough in? I read that makes a good crust.

Thank you. I actually lettered the air cleaner last night. First thing is sorta actually intended for the car. I want to feel better about consistency before I actually try the fenders and all. Plus I need to comet wash all the scale off the car.
