It looks like you rivited it on, and it lays out pretty flat. I think you did a pretty good job to cover the hole or holes. Everybody doesn't want a concours job on there car, anyway, it looks good to me. Good job.

I've done worse, but would never take a picture!
Are you aware that pop rivets are available in countersunk-head style? They're handy if you wanted to fill and smooth the area.

Looks like a good job! One of the things that kind of catches the eye is the lighter coloring inside the rivit heads where they didn't get paint or the way the flash shines that makes it stand out a little bit, otherwise it will be hard to detect when you get a motor in place with wires, hoses, etc.

My theory lately is why pay someone good money for something that you can do, if your happy with it who cares. By the way looks good to me !

Cover it all up with some cool racing stuff. MSD Box, Fuel regulator etc.

I would also run a bead of body sealer around it to add to the finished look, if you aren't finishing with filler...

Even so...nice clean job.

i want to put a Fuel regulator and an oil adapter mounted to it.

and the MSD coil on top. hope thats not too much,
