I did... twice. Still don't understand why someone would do it. It's a lot of work either way. The only thing in it's favor is it isn't intimidating to newbies, but most newbies can get the same or better results by spraying... if they just TRY!

i hear using a mop and bucket produces the same results BUT in only half the time

I did this 25 years ago with a Safety Red Enamel for metal on a 64 F100 PU - like the stuff they used on fire hydrants except much brighter. It's probably sitting in a junkyard now somewhere still brighter than the sun
