There's a local guy selling the following - he told me he'll take $500:

- a brand new miller 135 mig welder only used once (still under warranty)
- full tank of gas
- autodark helmet
- welding gloves
- Welding cart
- comes with some wire and tips
- Video tape

Does it sound like a good deal???

Thanks.

Depending on the quality of the accessories, it sounds like a typical asking price. My Lincoln electric 135 Plus was $380, 20 cu.ft. tank $80.

Not a bad price especially if the helment is of good quality.

Bill - I asked and he said it's just a $50 or so helmet - but it is auto darkening. The tank's about 3' high or so - he didn't know the capacity. The tank's full.

$500 seems pretty good for a miller 135 with the accessories, even if not the highest quality . . . a new miller 135 goes for around $500 and it's got the full tank, gloves, and helmet.

Wish I could have found a deal like that. I just bought a new Miller 135 and didn't get a tank, for about $600. The taller tank is worth $150 easy.

Here it is - picked it up this past Sunday. Got it all for $450. Miller 135, full bottle of C25, autodark helmet, gloves, a couple of 10# spools of wire, tips, bla bla bla. This thing is brand new - looks like it's only been used once. I finally got a good deal on something . . .

Oooh, you bugger! I spent much more than that for the exact same welder/cart and didn't get the bottle, plus I had to buy the helmet!

I purchased the exact same welder at the beginning of the summer and think it's really a quality unit.

I think the unit itself was a shade over $500, add a helmet, gloves, and a big bottle and you're knocking on $800 easy.

Congrats on a total bargain.
