'89 firebird ,Canadian?
My mother just bought a '89 350 Formula Firebird with T-tops.We were recently at a car show and a passerby told us this is a very rare car as the 350 was not offered with T-tops in America. Is there any truth to this statement? Also ,does anyone know a good place to get replacement fiberglass T-tops?

Hello,
In answer to your question, the combo of a 350 and T-tops was available on certain cars in certain years. I will only speak to the '92 model year, since it is what I am most familiar with. In '92, the ONLY F-body on which you could have both T-tops and the 350 was the Formula. There were only a few hundred 350 Formulas made in '92, so the number with T-tops as well will be even less than that, making for a pretty rare car. This site isn't very heavy on the thirdgen F-body info. If you are into the car and have questions, go over and register on thirdgen.org as it is the best thirdgen site out there. Research the archives and make a post and you'll be able to learn what years the cars could be had with the 350 and T-tops. Good luck, enjoy the car.
