65 Seat belts
On a 65 GTO are the chrome seat belt buckles only for deluxe seat belts and if so, would deluxe seat belts only come with retractors?

Hamill MFG,Co. Inc. 65 Deluxe seat belt would only came with retractors. Jim Robbins Co. Standard seat belt had plastic protective escutcheon on the ends. They could have Borg Warner Model 200 belt mounted retractors. Hope this helps

65 Standard seat belt were also supplied by Irving Air Chute Co.Inc. also came with plastic escutcheon.

Discussions on belts have been posted before .
Here are two pics of my 65's rear floor at turn up point to trunk. Note flat spots and punch marks for mount plate alignment. Two pics of dealer confidential accessory book. Does not list 65 ?? Book may be big car only??? But does seem to indicate two types. |
