Default Pypes/Max Friday Night BBQ and Cruise June 19

Our Open House is coming fast and is only a few weeks away and we want to officially announce that we will again be hosting our Annual PY Forums Friday Night BBQ compliments of Max Performance, Pypes, GTOG8TA.com and Snappin Turtle Tie Downs.

Anyone who likes to eat and talk with some good people is invited to join the BBQ. Our BBQ kicks off at our facility headquarters parking lot. We have an all-day cruise in. Gather and talk with fellow members while soaking up some sun. Then around 6:00pm we will do a local cruise around town. We'll end back up at our headquarters and have our PY Forums Reunion.

However, just like most picnic style BBQ's, attendees always surprise us with various contributions. These contributions really bail us out because we never know just how many people will show up. Somehow everyone eats and there's always lots left over! If you want to bring a food or drink item please post what you're planning. If you don't, that's ok too. All you need to bring is your appetite and a chair.

Items we always seem to need for the bbq: ice, bottled water, beer. Anything else is a bonus!

I am also looking for volunteers to take a cooking shift. If I can get some relief pitching, I'll be able to do a much better job of making and distributing some Anti-Freeze, PY Blue and the new Red Rum.

**RAIN OR SHINE**We'll have tents or move the entire thing inside if inclement weather occurs.

We hope to see everyone there.

Also please check in with the poll above so we can get a good head count.

I already have some help for cooking. No need for additional help.

I hope to see everyone there.

Me and Carole are planning on being there once again weather permitting. Its a great show but also a perfect location and event to meet up with others we only get to see 2-3 times a year! Thanks for continuing this event.

You guys are TRUE enthusiasts!

All who read, these guys are from Indiana! Every year they make the trip. Who's going to caravan with them? Ohio members? Western PA?

If you haven't been, it's time to find out what you've been missing.

Thanks for the info help, hope to be there but need to convince the wife first that it's a better vacation day use than going to the lake house for a weekend.

Just want to let everyone know that the registrations are up this year compared to last year. The Pontiacs are still holding strong. Let's try to support the hobby & Max Performance. We will have a bunch of new items in our "swap meet" area with great deals. We will have a display of all of the Max Performance wholesale items we make. Everything is in-place to have a great day, now we just need YOU to come... As Uncle Sam says... We Want YOU !

That's a good thing, but I'm not happy that there's no specific classes to judge, just top 75?? who's idea was that??

We elected to go a top 75 this year because of the changes. I know it's not a popular choice to change it to top 75, but we will try to see how this works out. Overall, it's easier for our staff & car clubs to manage the day. Don't forget, up to the registration closes... 12 pm, a lot is going on and is very hectic. Even if we have more people helping, the amount of cars coming in at once is very stressing... This top 75 will help the car flow onto the field better, less waiting and whoever gets there early will be able to park on the black top. We have not decided 100% yet if we will have "ERA" parking or not. My thinking is to have cars "grouped" together by several decades. More discussions will happen as we get closer. Let's hope for good weather.. then enjoy the day. GP Mike

I'm hoping we'll still be allowed to park behind the building where we have the past 3 years. If you show up Troy, that would be 3 Trailers/RV's that I know of for now. Is this still the option???
