No, Those are XT's. The IF is fairly common found on 69-71 firebirds and grand prixs, cutlass, lemans etc.

I'm not disputing your claim, however if you go to Team Camaro web site you will see that IF code and XT code as well as a slew of other codes were used on 69-70 Copo Camaro's.

Guys
This wheel came on any 69-72 Grand Prix that took a hub cap. Not that rare of a wheel

The XT is the wheel of choice on the copo's not the IF. Although nothing is impossible the camaro guys are not clamering for the IF. The XT can also be found on W30 and W31 olds's. Check the Camaro site. The IF is not the wheel they referance.

IF is only used on 69-70 gp's and firebirds to my understanding and no matter how you slice it they are still valuable. I sold 4 2 years ago for 500.00. Not as bad as xt wheels but still not cheap.

IF's are also Factory on W30's and W31's and GS's. In fact The XT wheel is also OEM to W30 And W31 as well. NOT Exclusive to Chevy.
Priceing is all in what someone will pay. Two sets of IF's went off on ebay within the past three months. One set went for $350 the other $400. A rescent set of XT's sold for $1000 and i know of another set available in the $1300 range. Yet a single XT has sat on ebay a few times at $250 Buy it now with no sale.
These IF and XT wheels were on more models than most realize and i'm sure guys have them sitting in there basements thinking nobody wants a steel wheel and don't realy know.

If you opted for dog dish caps on your 70 GTO what code wheel would you have got?
IF,XT??

I don't believe there were any rims on GTO wider than 6" through 1970

FWIW
my 69 Firebird 350 2BBL 4 Speed with full wheelcovers had XT's
My 69 GP also had full wheelcovers with 14x7. I don't remember if IF or XT
The 65-72 Chevrolet Parts book (72 printing) lists as follows for the XT:
1969-1969 Chevrolet Chevelle Super Sport 396
1969-1969 Chevrolet Camaro SS (427 L-88 L-89 ZL-1 and COPO)
1969-1970 Chevrolet Nova SS 396

There may be a cheaper alternative.Wheels Vintique's make's repo's of the originals at a fraction of the cost.I purchased some 15 x 7's for my Formula and put dog dish hub caps on them.It was alot cheaper than paying over $200.00 a piece for NOS steel wheel's. And it looks like your fighting a loseing battle here.

74sd455 formula, It does seem daunting. But i have secured three just need to find two more. I have had wheels made in the past and that is a viable option.

Gonicgm,
The GM parts book you have is interesting in that you say it lists the 69 Chevelle SS. Well, in 69 the ONLY wheel available on the SS was the Super stock rally wheel, no hub caps.
68 did offer caps or rallys, 70 rallys only
Possibly the book says Plain Chevelle not SS. A COPO chevelle,in 69, could get dogs but that was not an SS model.
