So why didn't you build that Bad Azz 48 head engine...you yapped about it for long enough? Did you have those done after you windowed the block the first time because your HO heads got hurt? Yup you are clueless.... That intake would need some work to make a 1000 N/A. Is that the one I copied? Last edited by PAUL K; 02-18-2020 at 06:27 PM. |

This one will make 1041hp NA with my E-heads.... The one that makes considerably more power is still on the engine. Let me know if you'd like a picture.

Lol.....Bunch of funny chit in this thread and another year has past with little action from the Big Yapper .
Mystic how is your Wide-port build progressing? I'm thinking 1100 plus HP is now the "big number" for E-head builds.... Quite a few 1,000 plus out there. Anxious to see some RAV results. |

No not yet. We are completely over whelmed with work. That had to be put on a back burner.

Sounds like your business is doing good then. That’s not a bad problem to have.

aluminum motor I know is being worked on at the machine shop. not sure what heads it will have yet, as I have a set of hi port and I picked up a used top end tigers (as cast). I am leaning toward the tigers, but need to get them gone through. I don't think the aluminum 517ish will be anywhere near 1000 with either head, but id like 900ish at 7600

Somebody put quite a bit of effort into my Victor intake for my wide ports that I am going to use as a dyno mule before I put the Gutsram modded to blower intake on it in the car sometime this spring...

I'm curious about Paul K's comment regarding quite a few 1,000 + hp e head builds and 1,100 + goals. Do you feel 1,100 + e head builds are attainable and have you built any? Mike L. aside, I don't think anyone else is even close to that n/ a. I don't think there has been over 5 builds that broke 1,000.

I have seen 2 of the cars run. They third car I have only seen the dyno sheet on. But it was out of the same shop as one of the others. So I am pretty sure it’s legit.

I'd like to know details of these small engines that have been within spitting distance of 1,100 hp. I'm not saying it can't be done, just I have seen zero proof that it has been done.

500 plus CID, Wide-port E-heads, big cam & big compression.... I'd be happy to build you one if you are in the market?
