I'm still waiting on Summer to get here, rained about everyday since May.
Over 4 feet of rain so far, that's well over our yearly average.
Worst Summer I can remember.

WOW but I would take the rain over 100 plus degrees everyday!

Since my summer has been filled with Dr. appointments and chemo and radiation treatments, I wholeheartedly concur.

However, the end of summer will see the end of the major part of my treatments, I will be more than happy to kick this summer to the curb.

But here in the Midwest, it's been unusually pleasant, weather wise. More rain than normal and lower temps than normal.

Plus the end of summer means football season is here. So rejoice, be merry and get ready to scream at your television sets!

Good old Texas summer, so sick of it! Can't wait for cooler days, and start working on my car again.

Oddly enough the last couple weeks in Minnesota have been nearly ideal - upper 70s during the day and low humidity for the most part. This is usually the hottest, stickiest time of the year.

If you lived in the Northeast you wouldn't be saying that.

Don't want to think about it. Summer is too short for us. The only thing to look forward to is the NFL. It's been a great summer so far.

Yep, it shore gets hot in Texas, ya'll. I saw on the weather this week that it was up to about 105 in the Dallas area. But this didn't just start in the 21st century. I can remember going to bracket races every Sat in Tyler, back in the summers of '78 & '79.

There were lots of days when it would still be over 100 degrees at 6pm. There was no shade. It was "fun in the sun". So between time trials, we'd just sit in the truck with the air blowing. Nowdays, I'd just stay home and wait for cooler weather. But I was younger then and didn't want to give the Chevy boys a chance to win a race without having to beat our Pontiacs.

Still having a lot of "90/90" days here in scalding Florida. That is degrees/humidity.
Daily rains continue but they don't make a dent in the temp.
Oh well, I chose to live here so suck it up and deal with it.

Jim

While we have had quite a bit of rain here in the upper midwest, its been a pretty decent summer weather wise. A little on the cool side and very few 90+ days.

Way too short though! I cant believe my daughter goes back to school in a week.

Wasn't a bad summer here weather wise. But yeah its almost over. The kids go back to school in a couple of weeks. I'm not looking forward to the cold. And while most of you are waiting for football season, I'm patiently waiting for hockey season.

It's 65 degrees in north central North Carolina this morning and school started this past Monday. Een though it is summer, it sure feels like fall here.

Default Nice!

It's in the low 60's this morning in north LA. It's literally a breath of fresh air. Won't last long, but lets us know how it will feel when summer is over.

Welcome to this week North Texans! A welcome break of showers and cooler temps, especially at night. What a difference, but I know summers not done yet!
