Try Smith Racecraft, the midplate should be in the right location, should just have to fab motor plate mounts.

Another vote for Smith Race Craft.

We have one in our `70 Firebird, and my fab guy is in the process of getting the motor plate where it needs to be.

A little late, but they were running 10% off last week on the frames.

Take a serious look at DSE (Detroit Speed & Engineering). I built our car with their components and am very pleased. Top shelf quality, proven track record. Take the time to look at what they have to offer, you won't be disappointed.

i had a sub frame recently and after installing it found out the motor was hitting the rack . I was trying to use an engine plate. the plate was still several inches from the frame when the engine hit the rack. I pulled it and sold it to a chevy guy. I called Smith race craft and talked to them, but they could not tell me if a Pontiac motor would fit. I dont want to spend all that money on one and then have to cut it up to make it work.

Jeff Kinsler has the Smith Racecraft subframe in his Firebird, so it will definitely work. Just may need some minor fab work.

My bad people, it wasnt Smith I talked to. I talked to Smith Race Craft today. Very helpful man. He got me set up. I am very pleased with this company so far with all the help he gave me over the phone.
