I liked his "When was the last time you saw one of these cars?" I saw one this morning in my garage. He has a nice car.

if it was 1983 when i first got in to pontiacs (and old cars in general) i would say "go ahead,who cares" , but its 2006 and there is now a ton of aftermarket pontiac engine parts available and you can build a fast one for a decent price.

btw straight axle 63, i'm a veteran "hamber" and one of the originators of what a true rat rod is.
why did you think you could come to an ALL pontiac message board and think you'd get praise and a pat on the back with your future project?
it would be like going to a 5.0 mustang board and say "hi guys,my name is so&so . i've got a 66 mustang fastback and i'm thinking of sticking a 350 in it. you'd probably get the same response........"brrr brrr brrr brr" (crickets)
