Default Blow some holes in this...

Looking at this 69 - trying to find some things to complain about...

Have a look: http://www.ebay.com/itm/1969-Pontiac...-/322429700969

What do you think? Overall impressions? See anything that sends up red flags? What you you think reserve should be on this one?

Nice example, but far from concours quality. IMO it should sell for about the bid price now, 30k and change. But the seller is wanting more.

If non-original does not bother you, then this appears to be clean from pictures. One note: Hood scoop inner portion should be a flat black color - repaint shot them all body color.

Visually, it's a very nice looking car...I sure wouldn't kick it out of my garage...but 30K seems steep to me.

Price seems high, for that kind of money I'd be wanting something more original and correct. Not outrageous .... but some of the errors seem simple enough to have made right that it kind of puts the rest of the work under suspicion.

My number would be closer to $24,000 .... cause I'd have to return it back to original colors.

But, no, not a horrible car by any means.

PS. Scott .... remind me to bring you along if I ever buy a car

IMO, $30k crosses the threshold where all factory A/C parts must be present and functioning.

This is a $20k car. I don't believe the bid is real.

And there is no excuse for missing rocker mouldings.

rubber fuel line is scary, A/C no compressor, lots of trim missing, makes me wonder what else is missing. 30k way to much, should be 20's.

Looks like you came to the right place...lol

Seriously, $30K and 'did not meet reserve' is out of line for that car. Nice, but not that nice.
Not usually a fan of non stock colors but I do like that color on it.

I agree with the consensus on the car, it had a quickly resto for retail but it is a very solid looking car (comes from a good west coast location too) with a very nice option load from the factory. Bought right for low 20's this car would respond very well to correcting all the little things wrong on it. The right buyer of this car is someone who has lots of spare 69 bits in his basement.

Those aren't the original wheels.......they are 7 inch wide wheels, not 14x6.
