Allard62 makes the jump............I'm here I'm here!
Hello all,
After a week or more of frustrating attempts to log into the A-body forum, I finally gave up. That kills me as I was very comfortable there. Hell I even had my I/T guy working on my office issues try to fix "my computer".......lol I wonder what the hell happened?? Oh well. I've been a member here on the PY forums for some time, but didn't participate here as much and mostly only browsed what Pontiacs were for sale from time to time. You may as well know that I used to be a pretty well known porn star, so I had to change my stage name from Racer to Allard....lmao |

Here's a familiar '73 GTO on eBay. $41k or offer. Is there a special location here at PY where these "For Sale" listings should be posted?

Hey Castongu and Allard, glad to see you over here as well, it is really a great site. I like the A--body site too, but the PY forums usually always are up and running.
Dave

I met up with Imran a couple weeks ago at an indoor motorama show in Buffalo. He really needs to make some room as he has a few other interesting projects he is working on and needs the space. Hoping this GTO goes to a good home. If I didn't have a mortgage to pay this car would be a nice addition to my fleet.

So many options over here
Seems odd not to post this here, but I'll post it here AND the cars for sale section:

Did we ever come to any conclusions as to whether this car came built this way? We had a thread back over on the A-Body Site about it? I think someone mentioned maybe it's a very late 73. I thought the Opera Windows came out on a-body's starting in 74.

Yes, that was my theory. I know that some early 74 Chevelles with opera windows were just factory large quarter windows converted with sheet metal patches. Even the interior sail trim panel was large window trim with some padding material added to fill it in around the opera window.

TropicDave here, TropicDave there as well. And why, yes, as a matter of fact I do own a Can Am...
On the brighter side, I'm back to work as well after a two-month recuperation following open-heart surgery. Not a way I'd recommend for taking so much time off work. At least hopefully soon I can start putting some money back into the CA.
