Default 75 Grand Am in Germany door overhauling

Hi,
I introduced myself already in the lobby and now it's time to ask some questions.
I bought a 75 Grand Am and now I want to put some work on it.

What is the right word for the outside Weather stipe which seals the gap between door and window (outside).
I am from Germany and names of specific parts are not so easy to translate.

Is it window weather stripe?

I try to find a shop where I could find it but with no result.
which Pontiac models have the same part and where can I get it.

The windows are not properly guided and the power window motor seems to be a little weak.
Everything seems to be worn out a little bit.
so I need replacement parts I guess.
Didn't rip everything spar yet, I will start tomorrow

The Grand Prix does share some parts, but the window sweeps are not one of them. If you have a question if a part might interchange, ask away. I have owned several of both.

Lightbulb Try Motorealm

Always try this host PY 1st for parts...unfortunately not too many parts for the 1973-75 A-Body's here. However...

IMO I would take a look at Motorealm who specializes in 1973-75 Grand Am parts. They are the producers of the replacement nose cap/bumpers for GA's.

Here's a link to their parts page: http://www.motorealm.com/parts.html

Scroll down to see these For Sale there:

1973 2-Door Outer Beltline Molding Seals ("Window Whiskers")

These are the exterior whisker/seals that attach at the top of the door skins. The original stainless from your car must be retained and re-used, as well as the small black molded endcaps that are rivoted to the molding assembly. These whiskers only replace the black rubber seal part of the assembly.
Here's one of their 1973 GA Replacement nose kits
