Default Heart catheterization

I had an abnormal stress test last week and have to go for a heart cath in the morning. If it’s just a small blockage they will do a stent but obviously if it’s a large blockage or a vascular defect I will have to have open heart surgery. I am scared to death so if any of you are praying people please send some my way. If god forbid something happens to me my father in law and my nephew have the plans for my car so it can be finished and given to my daughter so project Phoenix will live on.

With all the modern equipment they have now, you'll be out in no time and back to car world. Better to find out now. Good luck and will be thinking about ya.

I’ve had three stents in five years. First one was a 90 per cent blockage, second one a year later was a deformity in the artery and the third was a year ago with a total blockage. All three were easy as a tooth filling. The last one I drove myself 40 miles to the hospital and three hours later had the procedure. The next day at noon I drove myself home. You’ll be fine.

I will certainly pray that the cath will go smoothly and whatever needs to be done beyond that point will be a complete success. And may the Lord give you peace about the future.

Unfortunately a lot of people don't get this opportunity to have this operation. You'll do good, guy at work had this done and was back in five weeks. We are all pulling for you!

I prayed one up for you and family. God would enjoy your prayers to Him too ya know.
The power of prayer is enjoyed by those who have faith that God sent Jesus, and humble ourselves to repent. Jesus promised a Helper, the wondeful counselor (the Holy Spirit), the spirit of truth, (John 14:15) will guide us in our decisions, yet we must pray for guidance. We must all be reborn (born again) inSpirit. So on and so forth, it's a great read.

Oh, and you concern for a car project, for your daughter. I like that. You got some work do on it huh. HIS

I had a stent put in last October. Its a walk in the park. You're home the same day and up and around the next. OPen heart surgery has been cut down dramatically by the stent.

I had open heart surgery 13 years ago. Had my Aortic Vavle replaced and part of my Aorta.. I was out of the hospital in 4 days. Now I’ve heard they can do the procedure without opening you up.. That being said best wishes sent your way.

Same here, 4 years ago. Mechanical valve and aorta replaced. Out in 4 days and back to work in 3 weeks. They can do some amazing things.

Wishing you the best of luck. I had a minor heart attack a few years ago. While in there they scheduled a cath. I really had no idea of the process other than what it was. A few minutes before the procedure the surgeon stopped to see me. Told me what the outcome would be. That it may have to have a stint, or even a bypass. I asked if they needed that to be done when would it be scheduled? He told me they would do it right then and there. Yes it scared the #&#& out of me as well. BUT, I didn't have anytime to think about it.

My 84 year old neighbour had a couple of stents put in, one last year and one the year before. He was talking about it after like it was nothing, which surprised me.

Amen!!!
It's difficult for most to understand living a Godly life...you don't have to understand, just have faith!!! God has no plans for any of us to suffer or be sick, when this happens he wants us to have faith in him. THank him for your healing about to come!!! Keep thanking him!!!

We serve an awesome god. Just some minor buildup that can be treated with medication. No stent or bypass for me. Get two days of rest where the wife had to treat me like a king and then it’s back to the Tempest LOL. Thanks for all those that sent encouraging words

Prayers for you 64speed. The newest technology should make it fairly easy, but nuthin' wrong with a little help from above.

Praying that it goes smoothly, so you can back to that Tempest.
