Are Deluxe seat frames and springs the same as Standard ones in a 69 Firebird?

I redid the seats of my 69 bird, converting from std to deluxe. Bought the parchment covers and new foam. It came out great!! the fit is fantastic. Taking the frames out and stripping all the rust off, painting them, and installing the new covers was easy. The weave of the deluxe interior is def more comfortable in that it just breathes better. While I was at it I had a bracket made for the mounts allowing 2 inches more leg room, what a difference on longer rides.

Dave,
Where did you buy your covers from? My Fbird has standard seats with deluxe everything else and i wanted to recover them with the Deluxe covers. Probably a good idea to go the distance and replace the springs also, I think they're pretty soft.
All replys and suggestions appreciated. I've been out of the muscle car game since the early 70's and recently acquired a 69 to play around with. I'm sure i'll be posting a lot more inquiries.

Got the whole set from Perf Years of course! If you want to match the color, call chris or debbie from PY and they will send u a swatch. My springs were in dec shape since the car has only 52K on it. On the rear I did replace the burlap and tighten up the springs. As my car is a convt, I am toying with the idea of making a rear seat with the orig shape out of wood to mount speakers in (the front edge). Bought an extra seat at Englishtown.
