I have a 1970 LeMans Sport convertible, 350 2bbl, no AC. I need to order a blower motor (squeals loudly) and resistor (fan does not work on high) and I see some blower motors have the wheel and some do not. How do I know if the blower motor in my cal has the wheel or not? I assume it does but then wonder why a blower motor would be sold without one if it's needed?
Thank you! ![]() |

The wheel is easily removeable. They all have wheels or the air wouldn't move. Evidently some replacement ones include the wheel and some don't.

Blower 'High Speed' bypasses the resistor. Check the black wire at the switch and resistor for voltage when in "High'.

I ordered a new one from Rock Auto for my 1976 Firebird. I haven't tried it yet as I am putting in a new heater core while I had the car apart. It did not come with a fan, but it was easy to swap.
