Back halved by Hansen Racing Middlesex NJ. w/ large wheel tubs, custom built ladder bars, 3"chrome moly axle tubes, 4.10 gears w/ spool , 35 spline Moser axles, 5/8" wheel studs and double adjustable coil overs. Mark Williams 3 1/2" drive shaft. Will be in the car corral at Norwalk this coming July.

Fellow Racers; At 78 years of age I have decided to retire from racing. Both the 62 Catalina and the 87 Firebird Formula listed under firebirds are up for sale. The Feral Cat has a face lift for Norwalk and its prospective new owner, The engine dynoed at 640 HP and the sheet will be with the car. It is a 428 w/ 455 forged crank, Eagle rods, roller cam, ported E heads, Victor intake, 1050 Holley Dominator, MSD ignition, Mad Dog headers, and Flowmaster mufflers. The transmission is a turbo 350 (M38) with simply a good sprag, shift kit, and a modified governor to upshift automatically in drive like they were designed originally to do. Two convertors included are 9" Dynamics and 10" Transmission Specialties. Optional transmission available to the purchaser is a Powerglide w/transbrake. Both have transhields. A Mark Williams 3 1/2" Driveshaft to a Pontiac narrowed rear w/4.10 gears. The backhalf described in a previous thread. Fellow Racers and Enthusiasts. I have lowered the price of the "Super Duty Savage" to facilitate its sale. Offered to the purchaser are numerous items that were destined to the car before my forced retirement. Some of these are: a Pontiac Powerglide w/transbrake, convertor, shield, and deep pan. NOS front fenders and NOS tie bar. a nice pair of Catalina grills and headlamp doors. a Super Duty hood scoop w/2 grills. New Crites glass hood, deck lid, and bumpers.
Grand Prix buckets and rear seat to match already installed door panels and inner 1/4 panels. a rear g/p grill already re-chromed. Many parts from the car too numerous to list will accompany the car for the new owner's digression for the personalization of the car. Thanks for your interest, Paul

the firebird is gone and so is the powerglide and all its components. the Catalina now has a full 62 Grand Prix interior (original, but in nice shape for its age). the car was only raced at Norwalk last year for 6 passes putting a total of less than 30 runs on the engine. the price is still $29,900, but any accessories from and/or for the car are additional. Any and all remaining items will be at Norwalk this year including a brand new 24' v nose enclosed trailer I'll no longer be needing. available, but not included are: NOS front fenders and tie bar, new Crites fiberglass hood, deck lid, and bumpers, super duty hood scoop, catalina grills, gp rear grill, heater box and controls, rear end housing, and many more...NE PA

It may have taken a while, but this car will go on a new journey as it should with its new owner in a mid-west nostalgic super stock club.
