Did Pontiac stamp their Muncies with an assembly date or just the VIN for the 1967 GTO, or some other way...



How does this VIN stamp look to you?

Yes they did on the drivers side .easy to get a picture of it even if the tranny is in the car

My VIN stamp is just as messy as yours, but mine is stamped on passenger side of case and read from the front. Since they all were probably marked and yours doesn't have any markings on passenger side, I'd say it was simply the choice of the worker doing the stamping.
