Do you still have the radiator core support mounts? If so What kind of shape are they in.
Thanks

RicksGTO - trunk rods do hold up the deck lid/spoiler good. Have not got them out yet. I'll let you know.

HFR - fuel sending unit worked fine. Car originally came w/ california emissions (not sure what that meant). Have not had the gas tank down yet to see what's there and if it's any difference in the sending unit. Do you know?

Airpowr - are you referring to the rubber mounts on the top side of the rad support that attach to the bumper brackets and then to the support via small adapter plates? If so, you don't want these.

No, these are the ones that mount the support to the subframe.

I don't think emissions changed anything with the gas tank. I wish you were closer as I'd buy the tank also if it's not too bad. The unit would have three lines on it (two are visable right behind the passenger rear tire).

3 lines? I see 2. A supply and a return. This sending unit has the rubber around the ribbon cracked open and there seems to be a dead spot when measuring the resistance through the travel of the float. Couldn't have worked too good. I'm sure the contact points inside need to be cleaned. If you still want it, make an offer. The gas tank is ok, but has a couple of small dents in the bottom. Definitely not show quality.

How are the seatbelts in it? The inners front are shot in my 74 T/A, and missing in the back.

I am in need of a Rear Axle bumper for a 1970 - 1981 Firebird/Trans Am. This piece is bolted into the center of the Rear-End well, just above the rear end pumpkin. Here is a diagram of the part I am looking for, (#47 in the call out),
Do either of your parts cars have one that is in good shape? I am doing a high level resto, so I am looking for a "very good" or "excellent" quality part. The original PN was/is 481834, but in 1976 GM changed the PN to 525419. The same part was used on Firebirds from 1970 - 1981

I'm not doing anything with the seat belts until I get the belts out of the other car to make a good set. What's left over, I'll sell individually. I've had enough requests for seat belts that I plan on putting them on ebay when I'm ready.
