Neat car and story (matching drivetrain, 4-speed w/ 4.33s, unusual color, one family owner, same locale, docs, etc.). The price is humorously high, but probably a bit difficult to put a value on this one, too...

one thing speaks for the car, if it really has 4:33 gears and the numbers matching engine, it couldn't have been abused.

Car is worth $20k tops. Almost nobody wants a sierra yellow judge.

Surprised all this chatter about 4.33 and not one mention of the PHS.

I actually kinda like the color combo. Probably because it is so different. Price is pretty crazy though

Notice it has the non-default stripes.

What do you mean by the non default stripes??

These were not the standard stripes for Sierra Yellow.

Whats different about these vs the correct ones. I'm not up on the judges stuff, as I'm on some of the other cars stuff.

Rex, "Should" means there is a default stripe color and any other choice needed to be specified.

I think this should be crystal - if it's not, you'll need your head examined.
There were several color combos for stripes: http://ultimategto.com/cgi-bin/stats...69&f1=clrjudge Each one was a default choice corresponding to a paint color. If you wanted to, you could choose another stripe color, although I am willing to bet few people knew they could do that. So here's the 1970 stripes: http://ultimategto.com/cgi-bin/stats...70&f1=clrjudge Sierra Yellow corresponds to the top set, but the car in the auction has the next one down. Does that help? |

default - (N) noun (RESULT)
that which exists or happens if you do not change it intentionally by performing an action: e.g, "Unless something else is agreed, our default is to meet at the hotel at 7:00 p.m." "The computer will take 0 as the default value, unless you type in something different." |
