Default 70 t/a PHS question

Got my 70's PHS back and I have a question. It says "change alert" on it what does that mean? Never seen that before.

Wish the clowns wouldn't highlight all over it the parts that 'they' think may be interesting, as if someone even purchasing the PHS can't decipher a few codes or read plain text. Ruined mine which was more expensive than most to obtain.

My 70 Formula had that also.

The only thing I could see different was the radio was a AM/FM stereo instead of AM.

What radio does yours have?
(should be AM only by the PHS)

Well my original radio is gone! I see it is has no transmission options. Would it be a m20 car? Has the original motor but the Trans is 64-65.

Agreed.

OP, check the axle code. If it's the original 12-bolt, I expect it will be a COZ code (3.73).

The Change Alert listing has been brought up before and to my knowledge, has never been totally understood. We've had some good guesses, but don't recall ever seeing any GM documentable proof of its' meaning. Nor do I recall ever seeing this Change Alert notice on any other GM brands invoices.
A 3.73 axle could be the reason, but the HD radiator option must be there too for a 3.73 possibility.
