Default need help to remove a part on my car

need to remove the trim piece at the headline over the door glass . can not figure out how to take it off . it is a metal piece . my car is a 72 formula

The chrome drip rail cover or the window weatherstrip channel??

no it is the black metal piece on the inside that cover the headliner will try to take a photo

If it's the piece I think you're talking about, it's part of the body.

Metal clip retainers, approximately 3 per side and will often break especially of 50 years old and rusty.
