For sale is a 389-4bbl engine and transmission that I removed from a 1964 Grand Prix. The engine code is: 26K (303 hp 389) Head codes: 9773345
Carter AFB carb tag is: 3651S The GP had 104,000 miles on it. I do not know if the engine was ever rebuilt in the past. The crank turns easily and the antifreeze is bright green. I have not tried to start the engine, so I do not know how it runs. Assume it needs to be checked over or rebuilt. I am including the items shown in the pictures. For example, the air cleaner, starter, fuel pump, wiring harnesses, distributor, alternator with brackets, plus the power steering aluminum bracket, fuel lines, coil, timing cover and the harmonic balancer with pulley. However, I am willing to sell some of these items if someone is interested. The asking price for everything is $1200. Please call or text Jeff at 810-516-7988. I have an engine hoist available to assist in loading. I am not able to ship, so pick up is necessary. Thanks for looking.
