Default A/C clutch cycle switch mastic

Need to replace the clutch cycle switch on my 78 T/A - it's the temperature probe type. Where the probe contacts the evaporator tube its sealed with black mastic goop stuff....any ideas what I can use to replace the goop? Thanks!

I used Everseal for mine, otherwise known generally as Dum-Dum putty or Tacky-Tape. All the Aircon places will have something similar.
