Ames repro tach: will work with Petronix 3?
Ames catalog describes the rally tach "works with points and GM HEI only". I have a Petronics 3, anyone use this combo?

That tach is made overseas; as long as you wire it properly it will work on most modern electronic ignition systems including GM-HEI and Pertronix ignition systems: # 1 and 2. Not sure about 3.
One which it does not work on is the new Mallory all in one distributor (MSD-8528). Found that out this past week. .
